Union: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Matematika is a peer-reviewed open access journal published three times in a year (March, July, and November). Union: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Matematika provides a forum for lecturers, academicians, researchers, practitioners, and students to deliver and share knowledge in the form of empirical and theoretical research articles. The scope of Union is Mathematics Education which includes, but is not limited to the following topics: Mathematics Ability, Mathematics Learning Model, Mathematics Learning Media, Curriculum Development, Assessment and Evaluation, Didactical Design Research (DDR), Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), Ethnomathematics, Research and Development (RnD), PISA Task.

<![CDATA[This study aims to (1) to determine how the approach TGT cooperative learning model in order to improve students' motivation to learn mathematics X class at SMK Candirejo Borobudur (2) to determine how the approach TGT cooperative learning model in order to improve student achievement in math class X Candirejo SMK Borobudur. Results showed an increase in motivation and student achievement in the learning process. Increase in the percentage of students' motivation in pre-cycle is 42% with qualifications are, in the first cycle increased to 65.8% with higher qualifications and the second cycle increased to 73.6% with a higher classification. Percentage of students who meet the KKM also increased in pre-cycle 60% fixed with 60% in the first cycle, and the second cycle increased to 80%. The results could be a mathematics teacher input to increase motivation and mathematics achievement through cooperative Teams Games Tournament (TGT).]]>

<![CDATA[The purposeof study was to determine the learning process using a model of Creative Problem Solving and to determine the increase understanding of concept and mathematics learning activity class XI-IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Imogiri. The research subjects were students of class XI-IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Imogiri and object of this study in the understanding of the concept and activity of students in learning mathematics. This is shown from the data pre-cycle observations by 42.85% with moderate category, increased to 61.90%with the high category in first cycle. then increased again to 85.71% in second cycle with the very high category. As well as understanding the concept of test result, the percentage of completeness obtained pre-cycle 48% with an average of 66. In first cycle increased to 76% with an average of 76.04 and at second cycle increased to 96%) with average value of 86,96.]]>

<![CDATA[This  research  has  goal  to  increase  mathematics  interest  and  achievement  of integersubject  ofclassVIIDstudentswithProblemBasedLearningmethodin SMPN1 Alian Kebumen,  period year2013/2014.  Theresearch result, after applyingProblemBasedlearningmethod,showstheincreasingofmathematics interestandachievementbyfulfillingminimumcompletenesscriteria(KKM).It isshownbyincreasing69,95%pre-cyclestudentslearninginterestquestionnaire. Thefirstcyclestudyinterestincreasedto79,71%.Thesecondone increased 84,95%.Thestudentachievementofmathematicshasalsoincreased,itcanbe seen by average point of pre-cycle that is 55,03.  The  learning  achievement increased  68,25  in  first  cycle  and  78,55  in  second  cycle.  It is suggested to teachersuseProblemBasedLearningmethodinmathematicsteachingtoother subjects as analternativewaytoincreaseinterestandachievementstudent.]]>

<![CDATA[The research purposes to increases activeness and mathematics achievement with cooperative learning model Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) in class VIII C SMP Negeri 2 Jetis Bantul. Type Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were students of class VIII C SMP Negeri 2 Jetis and object of this research were activeness and mathematics achievement. Techniques of data collection is using observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed that activeness and mathematics achievement increase. The results can be seen from activeness observation pre-term by 36.76% with moderate category, increased to 51.23% with the high category in first term. Then increased again to 70.83% in second term with the high category. The results of mathematics achievement obtained from test, with percentage completeness obtained pre-term 0% with an average of 34.41. In first term increased to 67,65% with an average of 76.68 and in second term increased to 82,35% with average value of 81.96.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this research was to describe about teaching learning process using Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) to increase student’s active and study result to the eleventh grade student’s at Miftahul Huda Bulu Temanggung. The hypothesis of this research was applying Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) could increase student’s active and student’s study result. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) collaboratively.The research result showed that after applying Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) in teaching learning process, the student’s active increasing. Before this research the students were passive to listen to the teacher’s explanation but after this research the students were more active to ask and discuss in group. Means student’s score increased, first 60,35 score, increasing in first cycle was 68,81 and increasing second cycle was 72,10. From the result above, it showed that Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method could increase student’s active and study result.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe and explain the process of improving the implementation of learning mathematics through Learning Model Team Games Tournament ( TGT ) to increase interest and class III student achievement MI Muhammadiyah Ngadipuro 1 Dukun, Magelang . The research was conducted in the form of action research that consists of two cycles. Subjects were grade III and this is the object of interest and study mathematics achievement through learning models Team Games Tournament. Data collection techniques using interest questionnaire sheet, observation sheets interests and achievement tests. Test instrument covering the validity and reliability testing. From the research that has been done shows as follows. First cycle test results indicate an improvement when compared with the initial values of students. The average initial value was 49.7 students increased to 57.5. Second cycle test results indicate an improvement when compared to the test cycle I. The average value of the first cycle is 57.5 increased to 67.5. It can be concluded that the interests and achievements of students studying mathematics class III MIM Ngadipuro 1 Dukun, Magelang increased .]]>

<![CDATA[Cooperative script method is one method to improve student’s interest in learning and students' achievement. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of the research is eight grade students of Junior high school Binangun Cilacap. It is conducted in two cycles, each cycles consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The data revealed from observation, questionnaire, test and documentation. The result of the research was there are increasing student interest and students' achievement. This forum can be teachers' reflection to be much better in mathematic teaching and learning.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to know the result and active learning of the students in VIIB grade of SMP Negeri 1 Polanharjo Klaten using cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted collaboratively. Subjects of this research are VIIB students of SMP Negeri 1 Polanharjo Klaten 32 students. Data of active learning student was collected through observation. Data of students' mathematics learning outcomes were collected through testing and documentation. Observations indicate increased student activity cycle I 61.16% and cycle II 71.35%. Increased students' mathematics learning outcomes viewed from the average value and completeness KKM. The average value of 58.34 with 13 pre-cycle students who completed, the cycle I 64.48 with 16 student who completed, and cycle II of 71.88 with 20 students who completed. Researcher hoped teachers can apply NHT models.]]>

<![CDATA[The research purposes to increases and mathematics achievement with Multiple Intelligence method in class VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Sanden. The research subjects were students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Sanden and object of this research were interests and mathematics achievement. The results showed that interest and mathematics achievement increase. The results can be seen from questionnaire data pre-term by 70.50% with moderate category, increased to75.13% with the high category in first term. Then increased again to 85.58% in second term with the very high category. The results of mathematics achievement obtained from test, with percentage completeness obtained pre-term 64.52% with an average of 73.87. <![CDATA[The purpose of this research was to describe the liveliness and achievement in class VIII D SMP N 1 Pleret using Think Pair Share (TPS). This research is class action research. The Subjects in this research is students of class VIII D SMP N 1 Pleret which consisted of 30 students. The technique of data is conducted with the test, observation, and documentation. The results showed that average the liveliness and achievement has increased. The liveliness on pre-term 37,08% increase to 60,82% in first term and increased again to 81,87% in second term and the acviement from 72,70 increased to 76,08 in first term and increased again to 80,93 in second term. The percentage of the KKM also increased from 46,67% to 63,33% in first term and increased again to 80% in second term. So researcher hoped teachers can apply TPS.]]>
